Accessibility statement

Everyone should be able to learn here. This is what we do, what we know is not perfect yet, and how to ask for help.

What we do

  • Every page works with a keyboard alone, with visible focus and a “skip to content” link.
  • Text size, high contrast, underlined links and reduced motion can be changed from Accessibility settings in the footer. They are remembered in your browser.
  • Forms have labels, errors are announced, and required fields are clear.
  • Diagrams in the practice tools come with a text version of the same information.
  • Pages are built to work on phones and with zoom to 200%.

What is not perfect yet

  • The simul8R exam screens deliberately recreate the look of Pearson VUE, Kryterion and iSQI exam screens so you can practice, so their layout follows those providers rather than our accessibility settings in every detail.
  • The admin console is used by our staff and has had less accessibility testing than public pages.

We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA. We test with a keyboard and a screen reader, but we have not had a formal third-party audit.

Accommodations for classes and exams

Tell us what you need (for example captions, slides in advance, extra breaks) and we will do what we can. For the exam itself, ask your exam provider about accommodations and extra time well before you book. Many providers need advance notice.

Tell us about a problem

If something is hard to use, call 571-327-8726 or send us a message. Tell us the page and what happened, and we will fix it or find another way to help.
